Noriko Matsumoto

Born in Kyoto in 1980.
While studying at the Imaging Media Department of Seian University of Art and Design, she was engaged in media expressions focusing on music and performance.
Currently she is making researches and developing systems at Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Science (IAMAS) on media expressions going beyond borders between information tools in the broadband communication network community, such as realtime streaming media and mobile data terminals.
She has also made researches and developed “dbv,” a platform for creating images developed by Max/Msp jitter (co-researcher/Saoshi Horii), and distributes them.And she started to creation of performing arts crossing over new technologies and contemporary art.
She is a researcher in Ycam (Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media )
